The temperature control system for air conditioning is operated by which power source?

Electric power

Pressure-regulated bleed air

Temperature control in the Beechjet 400A air conditioning system is powered by pneumatic energy from the engines: pressure-regulated bleed air. Hot, pressurized air taken from the engine compressors is routed to the environmental control system packs, where it is cooled and conditioned by an air cycle machine and heat exchangers. The conditioned air is then mixed to the desired cabin temperature and distributed.

This is why electric, hydraulic, or battery power isn’t the primary source for the temperature control—bleed air provides the energy to heat and cool the cabin. The pressure regulator keeps the bleed air at the right pressure so performance stays consistent as engine and flight conditions change.
